Phil is well qualified with a MBA from the AGSM; Bachelor of Science and a Diploma of Education. He established K2 Recruitment & Consulting with a view to provide specialist recruitment and consulting services to selected clients. Previously, Phil developed Dunhill Management Services in conjunction with his partners and management team from a 2 person single office to 180 people 10 office national businesses as well as integration of overseas operations for an intended IPO.
Throughout this period Phil maintained an active consulting role working on senior management & specialist roles; project recruitment; HR Consulting including developing complex restructuring of business operations; developing & implementing Career Transition & Job Search Centres as well as advisory roles to organisations on various resourcing issues.
Phil’s earlier career had been with Honeywell and BOC Gases in Corporate HR and training roles.
- Completed IPO due diligence for December 2000 listing of Dunhill. This involved conducting due diligence on UK and US companies for planned merger as part of the IPO process to form a $200 million 15 office global business, which he managed as Joint MD for an 18 month period.
- Conducted a parallel trade sale process and successfully negotiated the sale and merger of Dunhill to Robert Walters working with Credit Suisse First Boston.
- Personally conducted numerous senior executive search, ad-search and advertised recruitment assignments in both the public and private sectors over the last 25 years.
- Board Director Belle Property – providing strategic commercial advice to the company from July 2001 – August 2004.
